 Hello Golfers,

                   Wow 20 weeks are complete already. Sure did go buy quick. First, thanks to all that came out to play. Those who returned and those that joined . Hopefully all had a great time . We gave away some $$

for the pin shots . Mone and Tescar split $40  Congrats. Congrats to Benjamin for winning the tournament.

And to Ross for the 1st half win. Second half winner, well it was really close ! Oops have to wait til Monday for that one.. Banquet is at Grayton Rd. Tavern around 6. Week #19

 Hello Golfers,

                     Winner Winner ! Our tournament has concluded and it went down to individual scores on a couple of holes.. Both tied at a net score of 38 ! Tie breaker went to Benjamin. Congrats R. Benjamin for a well played tournament ! Kudos to Kelly for an outstanding tournament as well. For those who ask how the  tie works, it goes back to the  individual  scores on the toughest  holes according to the handicap on each hole. On these 9 holes handicaps are ranked 1,3,5,7,9 and so on. hardest being #1 handicap. Hopefully that helped. The 2nd half points race is definitely coming down to the last week of play. We have 2 tied at the top and another not out of reach. Good luck & yes if it comes down to a tie the same system will determine the winner. Next week golf should be on the 4th nine (holes 27-36). Those handicap holes run 2,4,6,8 etc. 2 being the toughest. Pin shots this week both went to Cannon haha jus kiddin he wasn’t  there. $80 will be split by Ross & Mone congrats. Our end of season party is at Grayton Rd. Tavern. Oct. 14th as in the past we will start with a buffet at 6 and prizes given during and after din din. Hello Golfers, 

                   18 down 2 to go. Two weeks left of league play. The season went by really quick, but  it is not over yet. We still have to crown a second half winner and several guys have a chance to capture that title. The season long tournament has come down to the last match!  Winner take all for week 19 play. Kelly won last week by 3 giving both himself and Benjamin 1 loss each. I confirmed our year end party with the Grayton Rd. Tavern and is set for Oct. 14th. I reserved the outside patio so dress for the weather however if there is inclement weather we will have the option of taking it indoors. As always your significant other is welcome. Usually we start around 6. Pizza, wings and more. Some nice scores to mention from week 18 were from Cannon 39, Lanasa 40, O’Neal & Jewell 43. Very nice. Pin shots this week went Grabowski and Cannon they split $80. Next weeks round is on the 3rd nine.  Hello Golfers,

                       Another week in the books. First and foremost I met with staff at the Grayton Rd. Tavern & confirmed our end of the season party for Oct. 14th. 6pm ‘ish. I reserved the outdoor patio for our party. Weather permitting of course. Pin shots this week… Willy was a lil selfish and decided to take both of them for himself !! Taking in $60. Congrats . Nice scores this week went to Tescar a 4 over par 40, Cannon also shot a 4 over round. Both Malobabic and Grabowski carded their lowest round of the year. A 6 over 42. Steve C. finished week #17 with tying his lowest round of the year. Congrats. The tournament is down to 2 golfers. It’s been a long wait for Benjamin I’m sure. Benjamin (13.61) and Kelly (12.07) will play for the Championship. Kelly is giving up 2 strokes & will need to win twice. If Kelly wins on week #18 each will have 1 loss forcing a week #19 winner take all . Good luck to both. We have a tie on the leaderboard with 3 rounds left ! Week #16

 Hello Golfers,

                     Greetings from Colorado. It looked to be a nice day for golf, some really nice scores. We are down to 3 in the tournament. Week #17 puts Steve C. (13.3) against Kelly (12.3) pretty much a heads up match . Good luck to both. Winner of that match will play Benjamin in week #18. The leaderboard is getting tight. Two points  separate  the leader from 2nd position. Which there is a tie as of today, with a few more not to far behind. Nice scores to mention were from Willy carded an eagle & a par finish for a 38 ! Burkhardt also carded a 38 with 5 pars and a birdy ! O’Neil &  Tescar with a 41 almost ties their low rounds of the year. Pin shots this week went to Willy and Cannon they split $75. We had a couple guys inquire about our year end party. As of now we are on schedule to finish week #20 on Oct. 7th and have the party on Oct. 14th. Like the previous years the party is at the Grayton Road Tavern.  Hello Golfers

                      So sorry for the delay. Week 15 gave us some really nice scores ! Week 15 eliminated 2 in the consolation bracket ! We are down to the  finals ! Week 15 also paid out $85 for the pin shots ! those go to Tescar & Manny (me). Oh almost forgot week 15 gave our  league  a new look on the leaderboard ! Some nice scores were turned in by;  Cannon a 1 over 37, Burkhardt a 2 over 38, Kelly ties his low for the year with a 44. Mazur turned in his lowest round with a 44 playing along side with Mone a 41. Really nice scores. No league play this Monday enjoy the holiday. We will resume on Sep. 9th.  Kelly & Cannon will have a match than and Steve C. will lay the winner of that match the following week.                     Winner Winner Congrats to Benjamin he will move on ! The consolation bracket is down to the final 4. Next week the tournament continues however Benjamin will have a couple weeks off.  Week 14 is over but not without a new leader and a tie for second.                      Another round down 13/20 ! The consolation bracket is posted below and we are down to 6 players. The match between Steve C. & Benjamin will resume next week . (week #14) Good luck to both. The loser of that match will go consolation bracket. The consolation bracket will continue as normal. Pin shots this week went to Mone & Betley they split $95 congrats. Some really nice scores this week were turned in. Cannon a 37, Lanasa a 39, Tescar a 40, Benjamin and Kooser tie their  lowest rounds & O’Neal shot his lowest round a 4 over 40! Hello Golfers, 

                        Well Monday was nice.. Tuesday not so nice!!  Still no electricity in our area hopefully alot of you guys have power. This weeks post is a lil shorter than usual I have alot of cleanup still. Last Monday the final four played sending 2 guys to the consolation bracket. Brackets are posted below. The Championship match will have this Monday OFF . Consolation bracket will continue as  normal. Nice scores this week from Hoag a 43, Chad & Walker , Negron & Burkhardt all with a 41. Benjamin shot his lowest round of the year and so did Kooser. Reilly posted a 45 and Dwyer a 43 his lowest round also so far. Finishing up is Norman who holed out for an Eagle 2 from 120 plus yards giving him a 41!! Not a bad day for golf. This weeks pin shots went to Chetnik (again) and Cupach. Hello Golfers, 

                    Winner Winner ! The results are in for the 1st half . Not so fast though before you scroll to the bottom we have to give some kudos out to some very fine golf scores this week. First to Hoag who shot his best round ever ever a 3 over par 39 !! Cannon a 2 over 38 , Negron a 39 ,Walker a 40, Kelly his lowest of the year so far with a 44. Reilly & Ross gettin in the mix as well with their lowest rounds of the year so far thru 10 weeks . Tournament play bringing out lil competitiveness I see ! Pin shots… winners this week were Negron & Ross Congrats. They split $110.00 very nice ! It’s lookin like the Final Four are set for the tournament. Good luck to all that still remain . Congratulations to our 1st half winner (see below) only by 2 points it was very close. Week #11 starts the 2nd half . The points reset to zero for all. Handicaps do not reset. .Next weeks golf is on the 2nd nine. this weeks scores, updated handicaps for those who golfed this week and the 1st half final leaderboard are listed below. The Winners tournament bracket is complete and posted however still waiting on a response from a couple of scorecards for the consolation bracket. I will send a text out as soon as I post that. **** Below is the updated version of the consolation bracket. Week #11 tournament play there will only be 3 matches. O’Neal v Koz , Betley v Negron & Fien V Dwyer. The rest of remaining players will have the week off. The winners bracket (Final Four) will also have the week off from tournament play.

Week #9

Hello Golfers, 

                     1 week left in the 1st half and 1 point separates the leaders. 6 points separate the top 4 spots.  Winners bracket is down to the elite 8. We had an even par shooter a 1 over a couple 2 over par and a few other nice scores to report . Pin shots this week went to Tescar and um…….Manny they split $80. Nice scores this week turned in were from Cannon an even par 36, Walker a 1 over 37 Mike M. 6 over 41,O’Neal shot a 42,  Benjamin & Tuller shot their lowest round this week also. Congrats on some nice rounds. Next weeks round should be played on the 1st nine holes. Next week is the end of the half . Points will reset on week 11. Handicaps will not.
