Handicap / Points Updates

Hello Golfers 

                   Just like I said updates to follow on Tuesday ! So I was able to update and multiply out a handicap for those that completed 3 rounds of golf. Also for those that completed 3 rounds I went back to week 1 and  2 and figured out your points hole by hole for pars or better after figuring in your handicaps. For those that have not finished 3 rounds yet you will see 0 pts on the points and no handicaps. No big deal as you complete 3 rounds ..probably next Monday we should all have 3 weeks covered.. I will go back and update everyone’s score from week 1 & 2. It’s important that you send me pics of your scorecards not just a final score . The point Leaderboard is broken into 2 halves weeks 1-10 and weeks 10-20 so 2 winners . handicaps are season long. I will post point leaderboard and handicaps below and update every week.  If anyone is interested in doing longest putt on a designated hole for $ let me know on Monday or text me with your thoughts. If enuf guys want to add that we can do that also. See ya soon

Week #3

 Hello Golfers,

                      Week #3 down 17 more to go !!. This will be a busy week for me lucky for me though I get an extra week to get it all done. For those who maybe forgot or I never mentioned the league does not play on holidays . Mallard Creek does keep the rotation going though so when we return to league play on June  5th they will prob have us back on holes 1-9. So on Monday after play we filled out our bracket for our first tournament this year which will be a 2 man team single elimination. I will post the bracket below.The way the bracket is structured 2 teams were randomly picked and got a free ride to the 2nd round. Rules are pretty simple the team with the lowest combined actual score (gross) moves on. I think to be fair we should close the bracket by the end of day Friday. Not everyone can be there on Monday I get it. Also you don’t actually have to golf with the person you are paired with unless of you want to by all means everyone loves a lil competition every so often I guess. PIN shots paid out this week to Tescar & Petcak total collected was $70. This weeks scores are also listed below. Tomorrow (Fri) I will post some of your handicaps, for those who hav golfed atleast 3 rounds or are returning from last year. Also I will post our league points leaders . For the newer league members we have a points race that runs usually for 10 weeks or 1st half than 2nd half. Points are given out for pars birdies, eagles etc. after your handicap is applied on the toughest handicapped holes to the easiest holes well atleast on paper. Easier  explained in person !

Week #2

 Hello Golfers,

                        Well Monday turned out to be a very nice day to play.  We had a very nice turn out, just over 83% of the league! Next weeks forecast is 70 & sunny just sayin .. So we may of had a lil confusion this week on some pin shots and some scorecards so that may be my fault so just to clarify some things. The pin shots are on the par 3’s its $5 to play & that puts in for both par 3’s.your 1st shot has to hit the green if so mark it with the stake put your name on it . if someone hits it closer than move it to there and put your name on it and so on.If your the last group or if your not sure take a pic of it .If you know you are the last group  bring it in and make sure to let me know who wins so we know who to pay . Please .. If I’m not there when the last group comes in please send a pic.As far as ALL scorecards please send pics of ALL your scores on each hole. I need to see what you scored on each hole to give you the points you earned for each round ..Whew that was a lot. There are still a few that have not paid the membership fee you know who you are so please bring that Monday. ** It’s tournament time ** After Mondays round we are going to pick for our 2man team blind draw single elimination tournament. It will be based on your gross scores. The next team tournament will be based off your handicaps. My fingers are getting sore ..

Week #1

Hello Golfers, 

                       Well we finally we were able to get our 1st week in the books. Welcome to all of our new golfers to the league this year. Looking forward to golfin with everyone this year !! So to refresh everyone’s memory and to update the new members. After 3 weeks of golf you will have established your handicap. Our league works on a 90% handicap system I find that to work the best for everyone for example if  a golfer scores 45 , 40 , 35, for the 1st 3 weeks total = 120 divided by 3 = 40 ..40 would be their avg score so x .90 of that is 36 so their net score is 36 got it ! Awesome … we will do the points next week lol .. So back to league play there were 2 pin shots that paid out congrats to Norman & one of our newest members making a name for himself Novick hopefully i spelled that right ! We will be starting A 2 man tournament around the 3rd week of golf this probably will be a blind draw tournament unless everyone has a handicap established. Should no more after week 2 of golf . Season #10 May 8th

 Hello Golfers,

                   Just a reminder for Monday May 8th. Bernie Norman will be handling todays league activities. 

For those members that owe their league fees still please pay Bernie & any updates to you email or cell phone #’s please give that info to Bernie as well. I believe Bernie may be handling the pin shots as well unless he has someone doing for him. Keep in mind there is an additional $60 ($30) per par 3 carry over from last weeks rainout which I have and will payout when I get back.  Hit’em well

 Hello Golfers,

                   Well week #1 didn’t quite work the way we hoped but we sure did try. Some were able to get all 9 holes in some almost and some well not even close, But hey cheers to all those who showed up !! So with that rainout that means that next Monday will be week #1 and our season will get pushed back by a week. As far as the pin shot $$ there was $60 collected so an extra $30 per par 3 will be avail for next Monday golf. Next weeks play will probably be on the 1st nine holes 1-9. I will not be there next Monday I will be out of town so Bernie Norman will be handling everything so those members that have not paid please bring your membership fee and he will be collecting that >To all the new members we will also need a contact # and a email address if you have one thanks.. And just a friendly reminder to “ALL LEAGUE MEMBERS” our league is a Monday AFTERNOON league which starts at 4pm. A lot of times the starters let us out early that’s not a problem. We have the time til whenever so if you are running late thats fine they will still send you out. If for whatever reason you are unable to golf out league night not  big deal you make up the league play say for example you in the running for the points or a tournament and you dont wanna miss out you can play during that week just let me know so I dont close out your stats for that week and make sure you send me a picture of you card. Please after every round played make sure i get a pic of your card do not leave it at the front desk or with the starter send me a pic!! My fingers are tired see ya soon hit’em well
