Week #11

 Hello Golfers,

                The 2nd half is under way and so is the double elimination tournament. The 2nd tournament will run the same way as 1st. Your actual score minus your handicap thats the score we will use for the bracket.   Good luck to all.. With the start of the 2nd half the points all reset to zero. There were some really nice scores this week . Walker and Manny shot a 2 over 38, Grabowski shot a 7 over 43 his lowest of the year and jumps out to the early lead!  Cornett tied his lowest round of the year and puts him jus 1 shot off the lead! . 2 pin shots worth $40 were won by Grabowski & Manny congrats to all  . Next week we are back on the 1st nine holes. Week 12 forecast is 85 and sunny !! Scores ,Updated Handicaps & Points are listed below. Week #10

 Hello Golfers,

                          Wow what a great week of golf ! 1st half of golf is complete. Winner of the 1st half with 113 points and the runner up in the 1st tournament is Z.Hudson. Congratulations on a great 1st half. Winner of the tournament only after a tie breaker which went to the 3rd most difficult hole was Manny . Congrats. Week 10 also gave us some really nice scores. Manny with a 1 over 37, Hoag & DiMarco both with a 43 their lowest score and DiMarco carding 2 birdies on his card! Reese, Malobabic, Martinez & Burkhardt all  shot their  lowest round of the year so far Congrats to all. Week 11 starts the 2nd half of our season ALL points reset to zero. Handicaps will continue as you golf those do not reset. We also picked names and completed the bracket on Monday for our 2nd tournament . This will be a double elimination tournament which will run to the end of season. On Monday we also gave away some $$. Congrats to Connors & Fox for some really nice pin  shots on the par 3’s.. Next Monday we should be on the 4th nine to start the 2nd half. Mondays forecast is 81 and cloudy (may need an umbrella) lets hope not! Week #9

 Hello Golfers,

                     The championship match is set !! First though some shout out to some nice scores. Congrats to Martinez , K.Jewell & Pagan. They all shot their lowest  round this year . Cannon, Pochatek & Fox all fired a 3 over 39 Pin shots went to Burkhardt & Manny this week they split $90. Congrats . The final match is set for week 10. Matches were close Hudson advances by 2 strokes over Wise. Manny & Richardson tied , both with a net score of 35. Match was decided on the 3rd handicap hole after both tied the 1st and 2nd hardest holes. Par score on hole 18 won it for Manny. Congrats. Next league night we will be starting the next tournament a 52 man double elimination that will run to the end of league. We will do a blind draw at the end of our round next week and this tournament will have a few buy rounds for some golfers. Tournament News

 Hello Golfers,

                   A couple guys asked about ties. The tie breaker comes down to the lowest handicap hole and so on. This past week Wise and Carroll tied with a net 34. Going back to the scorecards I look for the lowest handicap hole . This week we played the 4th nine the lowest handicap hole is hole 31 with a 2 handicap. Wise scored a 7 & Carroll reported a 9. Wise moved on with the lowest score. If for example they would have tied on the hole I would go to the next lowest handicap hole and so on. I hope this clears up any questions about ties ,Thanks when we return to league play we should be on the 2nd nine holes 10-18 . see you soon hit’em well.
