Week #20

Hello Golfers,

                    Wow 20 weeks came and left in a hurry ! We have some finals to post, some nice rounds and a party on the 10th of October . Congrats to Pochatek a nice 2 over 38 , Burkhardt a 4 over 40 thats his lowest round this year and it couldn’t have come at a better time for him ! Cupach tied his lowest round with a 49 Congrats to all. Pin shots this week split $60. I really hope I spell these names correctly its not that often you hear them ! Congrats to Orr & Hutchinson for some nice shots on the par 3’s. The 2nd half winner in the points race goes to Chad with 121 pts. In a few points back claiming 2nd was R.Jewell with 108. In the other race we had a semi-final contest with Burkhardt moving forward into the finals. Now because our tourney played out the way it did we are a week short. The finals in the consolation bracket is K.Jewell vs. Burkhardt. They can play 1 more 9 hole round ( the 3rd nine ) within the next few days or they can declare it a tie between themselves. I will reach out to them and keep everyone updated on their decision. Our party is at Grayton Rd Tavern Oct 10th. 6pm. I have reserved the outdoor patio for us so dress accordingly.  Hello Golfers,

                   Week 19 was a lil soggy for those that stuck it out but we got it in ! We also managed to give away a few $$ for some pin shots . Congrats to Malobabic & Grabowski . I know a lot of guys didn’t get a chance to get out due to the weather so if you wanna get some scores in for week 19 play ! We played the 1st nine when finished send me pic of scores and i will get it in by Sunday please ! Thanks.                   Down to the final 4 !! Bracket is shown below ! 2 weeks left congrats to those 4. Pin shot this week went to Norman $25 on the 2nd par 3 congrats. There was no pin shot marked on the 1st par 3 the 194 yard into that brutal wind. The $$ 25.00  will carry over to next week. Nice scores this week were from Norman , Grabowski , Torok & Garcia all shot a 43 Malobabic a 42 Burkhardt a 41 Wise shot his lowest round with a 42 Pochatek a 4 over 40 Nice job to all.  Hello Golfers,

                  Whew week 16 in the books wow !. 4 weeks left though alot can happen !! Cash Cash we like $$. Pin shots this week went to Cannon & Manny they split $90 congrats to them . Super shooters this week were Cannon shot a  3 over 39 Carroll shot an even 50 his lowest round of the year, Gabriel shot a 7 over 43 also his lowest round so far. Congrats on some good golfing. So only 4 weeks left that means valuable points can be earned. Miss a week and miss alot it may drop you back to far for those near the top .Good luck . Our double elimination tournament has a winner congrats to ORR he WINS by 1 point over K.Jewell. That will put K.Jewell in the finals for the consolation bracket congrats to all in the consolation bracket they are moving on to the next round !! I will post both brackets below along with the updated leaderboard for the 2nd half and scores from the week along with updated handicaps.  Hello Golfers,

                    WOW what an absolute great day of golf on Monday!. Weather turned out to be just fine to get in 9. Haha get it ! I made a rhyme whoooooo! So anyway really it was a good day for a lot of guys shooting some really low scores . Pin shot purse got up to $100 which is awesome for Hoag & Walker they will split it for $50 each Congrats . Nice scores this week to report were from; Reese he shot a bogey round making it his lowest score of the season, Lentz shot a 5 over 41 enters his lowest score, Cannon shot a 1 over 37 Walker & Lanasa both fired a 2 over 38, Hoag ties his lowest round again  with a 43 !! Good golfin congrats. So moving on…. The year end banquet is being organized for October 10th pending no rainouts! If there is  we will move it back a week to the 17th.  This year we will again be at the Grayton Rd. Tavern. On Grayton Rd. Near I480. 6pm. Anyone wanting to show up early to help set up is always appreciated I reserved the outside patio and bar for us ! So now on to the tournament … We are down to the finals ! In the consolation bracket we are having some really close matches. It should be a great last 4 weeks ! Also miss a day miss alot of valuable points on the leaderboard for the 2nd half .Still really close. Whew my fingers are tired.  So all the Scores , Handicaps & Points standings are listed below.                      Well well the race is on to the finals ! The points… no 1 person is running away from the pack it is still close miss a week miss a lot .. Highlights this week were from Fox shot a 2 over 38. Hayduk beat his lowest round by 5 shooting a 43, Hudson shot his lowest round so far for the year as did McMahon , Maritnez, Russo, & Burkhardt !                         Not to bad we had a 80% turnout ! We gave away some  $$. Some really nice scores this week; Niko shot a 1 over 37 Reese tied his lowest round , McMahon , Brinkhoff , Kelly , Cornett , Gabriel 

Burkhardt boy oh boy the list goes on ! A lot of really nice rounds this week congrats to all !! Pin hots this week went to Negron & Manny they split $100. Nice ! Tournament results are in and there are no byes next week. The 2nd half leaderboard is tight you miss a week you fall behind quick good luck.  Next weeks forecast is 87 hot hot hot but we all know its northeast Ohio it will change .  Hello Golfers,

                The 2nd half is under way and so is the double elimination tournament. The 2nd tournament will run the same way as 1st. Your actual score minus your handicap thats the score we will use for the bracket.   Good luck to all.. With the start of the 2nd half the points all reset to zero. There were some really nice scores this week . Walker and Manny shot a 2 over 38, Grabowski shot a 7 over 43 his lowest of the year and jumps out to the early lead!  Cornett tied his lowest round of the year and puts him jus 1 shot off the lead! . 2 pin shots worth $40 were won by Grabowski & Manny congrats to all  . Next week we are back on the 1st nine holes. Week 12 forecast is 85 and sunny !! Scores ,Updated Handicaps & Points are listed below. Week #10

 Hello Golfers,

                          Wow what a great week of golf ! 1st half of golf is complete. Winner of the 1st half with 113 points and the runner up in the 1st tournament is Z.Hudson. Congratulations on a great 1st half. Winner of the tournament only after a tie breaker which went to the 3rd most difficult hole was Manny . Congrats. Week 10 also gave us some really nice scores. Manny with a 1 over 37, Hoag & DiMarco both with a 43 their lowest score and DiMarco carding 2 birdies on his card! Reese, Malobabic, Martinez & Burkhardt all  shot their  lowest round of the year so far Congrats to all. Week 11 starts the 2nd half of our season ALL points reset to zero. Handicaps will continue as you golf those do not reset. We also picked names and completed the bracket on Monday for our 2nd tournament . This will be a double elimination tournament which will run to the end of season. On Monday we also gave away some $$. Congrats to Connors & Fox for some really nice pin  shots on the par 3’s.. Next Monday we should be on the 4th nine to start the 2nd half. Mondays forecast is 81 and cloudy (may need an umbrella) lets hope not!
