Week #4

 Hello Golfers,

             Negron Wins ! Negron Wins !!! Well so did Norman AGAIN ! $$ 2 pin shots split $80.Congrats to both very nice.  Also very nice were some scores turned in by, Beckner shot a 1 over 37, Negron shot a 3 over 39, & Cornett and Wise also shot very nice rounds. This week was the 1st round of the tournament there were a few surprises ! I will send an updated bracket via your email. Next Monday is Memorial Day there is NO league play . Week 5 for the league will resume on June 7th .  Week 4 scores and updated handicaps & point standings are listed below. Theses updated handicaps are the number you subtract from your actual score from Monday to get your net score which is posted next to your names on the bracket. See ya soon hit’em well..

Week #3

 Hello Golfers,

                 Wow what a nice day to golf.. Week 3 we gave away more $$ ! 2 pin shot split $80 . Congrats to Brinkhoff on the 1st par 3 and on the 2nd par 3 was  Norman ( AGAIN ) !!. And takes the carry over $45 from last week. Great job Norman. Our tournament starts next Monday I sent out an email to everyone with a pic of the bracket and 1st round match ups. Good luck. There were a lot of nice rounds played on Monday . Lanasa shot a nice 4 over par round and Martinez also played good. Norman stated that he played his best round ever and to Cornett & Wise for their nice 44!. Nice job to all. Below is a recap of Monday’s score updated handicaps  (which we will use for tournament play) and the current point standings. A note for the tournament with your handicap. I already figured out 90% handicaps for everyone for example Fox is a 6 handicap he would take 6 strokes of his score .. he shoots a gross score of 40 his net score is 34. Any questions ask me. Week #2

 Hello Golfers,

                What a beautiful day for golf well besides the chill in the air and the pain in my ankle. However there were some really nice round payed. Walker , Cannon , & Fox all shot a 4 over par 40 .Wise shot a very nice round and described it as “the best day of golf ever”! Nice job to all. For the pin shots a total of $90 was collected. 1 pin shot paid out on the 1st par 3 $45 congrats to B.Norman ....again!. Nobody was able to hit the green on the 2nd par 3 so for next weeks league play that $45 will carry over to the 2nd par 3 hole. I believe we play the 2nd nine (holes 10-18) so hole #16 the 161 yard par 3 will be worth the addt’l $45.. !!. We are going to have a mini tournament this year along with the regular 1st & 2nd half winners from the point system. The tournament will start the 4th week of league play and run for 6 weeks. We can also do 1 for the 2nd half as well. The seeds for the tournament will be a blind draw at the conclusion of play next week so if you can stick around after golf to pick some names. Handicaps will be used for tournament play and it  will also be a double elimination. This weeks scores are listed below see ya soon hit’em well!

Week #1

 Hello Golfers,

                    Season 8 is off to a great start ! Welcome back to all those returning and welcome to all the new golfers this year. With the additional golfers that puts our league around 31-32 golfers. Just like seasons past after 3 rounds completed we can establish a handicap than start with some points and standings. Mondays pin shots split a $80 purse. The 1st par three went to Manny and the 2nd par 3 went to B.Norman Congrats to both $$. Next Mondays weather is 56 and a mix sun and clouds. Also as in the past if you can’t golf on Monday you can make up your round during the week . Make sure you send me a pic of  your scores so you get the points ! This year I would like to try a blind draw tournament after handicaps are established for everyone . Tournament would be separate from the normal league standings.This weeks scores are listed below.
