It figures we had great weather for most of our season and in the last week it rains ..However there where a few die hards that did golf and golfed pretty well..Vance & Pochatek shot close to their low round for the year. Torok also turned in a nice round.. Thanks to everyone for a fun golf season I enjoyed every round & golfing with everyone. Next Monday ( Oct.16th )is our end of the season social at the Grayton Rd. Tavern around 6pm hopefully everyone can make it.. We have some nice gifts to give out & some good eats too..The final scores , points, & handicaps are listed below. Week #19
Hello Golfers
Can you believe 19 down and 1 more to go.. Season went by fast. We had some really good golf thru the season. We had some good golf this week as well.. Congrads to Negron on a 3 over 39 and a pin shot on the 2nd par 3, hole #16 the 161 yard hole . Nobody hit the 1st par 3 so we will hav a lil extra for next weeks pin shots. DiMarco,Hoag ,Richardson & Will also shot some of their best rounds for the year. Congrads !! A reminder for all that our party will be at The Grayton Rd. Tavern on Oct. 16th at 6pm or so.. Wow only 2 weeks left for league golf.. Week 17 had some nice scores and a couple payouts.. Congrads to Cannon for his pin shot on the 3rd hole the 173 yard par 3 & to Manny on the 5th hole the 160 yard par 3 $$.. Week #17
Hello Fellow Golfers,
Coming down to the end of our season and guys are throwin some nice scores..We paid out a couple pin shots this week congrads to Walker on the 34th hole at 132 yards and to Manny on the 30th hole the 194 yard par 3 nice job..Some nice scores turned in were from Cannon a 3 over 39. Cornett shot even par on the last 4 holes to tie his low round for the year so far very nice !! 3 weeks left for our league points are gettin tight at the top.. Next weeks golf is played on the 1st nine holes..Forecast is 85 and sunny ! see ya soon remember hit'em straight & hit'em far.

Week #16
Hello All,
Week 16 nine played a lil tuff this week however there were a few really good scores,, Bittinger tied his low round for the year as well as Hoag doing the same. 2 pin shots were paid out this week the 1st to Niko on hole #21 at 145 yards and to Negron on hole #25 the shorter of the 2 at 120 yards .. Congrads to both nice job..Im going to call Grayton Road Tavern and reserve a day in October for our end of the season get together. I will let everyone know the details as soon as I get them..Gonna try for a Monday night prob. October 16th or 23rd.. Our last week of league play is Oct.9th !! Week #15
Hello Golfers
What a day for golf.. We had a great turnout this week. 2 pin shots were paid out congrads to Negron on the 1st par 3 hole #13 158 yards & to Walker on the 2nd par 3 hole #16 161yards nice job to both.. The weeks stats are below and a while doing the handicaps I noticed that all 17 guys that golfed yesterday dropped their handicaps some by 1 stroke and some by a small margin .. 1st time everyone did this in the same week..Remember there is NO league play next Monday Sept. 4th Happy Labor Day. Hello Golfers
Wow week #10 had some nice scores again and also marks the end of the 1st half ..We had a great turnout and great weather again.. Week #11 marks the start of the 2nd half and points will reset.. It was close but Torok pulled ahead of the pack so congrads to him for winning 1st half !! Nice rounds for Bittinger , Cornett , Cannon , & Negron all shot their lowest rounds so far ..We paid out 2 pinshots on Monday Hole #3 a173 yards to Callahan & Hole #5 a 160 yard hole to Cannon congrads to both.. We are 1 week away from the half way point and standings are gettin close..miss a week and miss alot ...Congrads to alot of nice scores this week some even the low for the year like Carlos, Torok a nice 41 , Cornett , Bittenger & Willy shot one of their low rounds , Nice round for Negron & Manny shot an even 36.. Hi Golfers
Wow Monday was another scorcher jus a wonderful day for golf...Nice job to several turning in low rounds of 40 by Torok, 39 by Cannon, & Garcia and Kelly turned in their lowest rounds so far .. Week #3
Hello Golfers,, Wow can you believe we had 3 weeks of great weather! Scores from Monday are listed below . Handicaps are updated ( 3 rounds min needed for a handicap ) . Points have also been updated. For those who have not golfed 3 rounds yet as soon as you do I will go back and adjust your points..No pin shots were paid out so the $$ will be split between the par 3's and added to the pot for next league night which is June 5th. Next Monday is memorial Day ..No Golf League. Enjoy the Holiday see you on June 5th remember hit'em straight & hit'em far ..

Week #2
Hello Golfers week 2 is in the books . We had some really nice weather and some nice scores as well A couple of PIN shots were paid out ,, Hole #30 194 yard par 3 to Manny and Hole #34 132 yards to Tony Vance congrads to both. Reminder that handicaps & points will start after 3 completed rounds. Next weeks golf will play on holes 1 thru 9 ..week 2 scores are listed below remember hit'em straight & hit'em far.

Week #1 2017 Season
Hello Golfers
Week 1 of the new season was a great turnout. Scores from week 1 will be posted below. Handicaps and points will update after 3 completed rounds. Just like in the past handicaps are a 90% handicap system once a handicap is determined than I can give the points and standings.Points are as follows; for a net par =1 , net birdy =2 , net eagle =3 , net double eagle =4 and a net 1 =5pts. We will again golf 2 halves to the season (10 weeks each). Congrads to Cannon who won both pin shots for week 1. Remember any holidays that fall on a Monday there is no league play .. Next weeks golf will be on the 4th nine . Holes 28 thru 36. see ya soon remember hit'em straight and hit'em far..

2017 League
Hello fellow golfers,,
Golf league is appraoching quickly . 1st day of league play is Monday May 8th and is again 4pm-5pm starting time at Mallard however not sure which 9 we will start on .. if your planning on playing again $50 one time fee can be sent to Det. Dave Pochatek in the 1st Bureau thru dept mail .. For those not working city anymore jus contact me via cell or email (mannystrefas@gmail.com). I look forward to seeing everyone playing again.
